PRAIS Corporate Communication sustine activ modelul sustenabilitatii sociale si actioneaza in sensul DEZVOLTARII acestui model de societate sustenabila prin toate programele sale de responsabilitate sociala, care acopera patru domenii principale:

PRAIS: De ce sa alegeti platforma LOHAS?
1. Reprezinta un mod responsabil si sustenabil din punct de vedere social de a face afaceri in lumea de astazi aflata intr-un proces de schimbare rapida: limitarea resurselor de energie, apa, alimente, schimbari majore climatice - incalzirea globala, lipsa de acces la resurse si la educatie a milioane de oameni, imigratia, toate reprezentand o realitate de care trebuie sa tinem seama.
2. Pregateste companiile pentru mediul volatil din viitorul apropiat, pastrandu-le stabilitatea economica.
3. Fiecare companie are obiectivele sale de dezvoltare; consumatorul de tip LOHAS reprezinta astazi o piata mondiala de peste 500 de miliarde de dolari, atestata sociologic si aflata in crestere.
4. LOHAS este o noua platforma de marketing si comunicare corporativa care include CSR. Aceasta platforma contribuie la crearea unor sinergii intre corporatii, companii, partenerii acestora, consumatori, institutii publice, guverne, politicieni, lideri de opinie si publicul general, care pot conduce la proiectarea unui viitor durabil al planetei noastre.

Stil de viata ecologic
1. "Milioane de oameni, milioane de copaci"
Miscare nationala de voluntariat pentru plantarea de copaci si plante – program educational si de protectie a mediului inconjurator (recunoscut de UNEP si nominalizat in 2007 la IPRA Golden World Awards).
2. "Lumea ta? Curata!"
Program educational ecologic avand ca tema recuperarea deseurilor reciclabile.
3. "Este usor, zambetul planetei sta in puterea ta!"
Program de protectie a mediului – gestionarea deseurilor de ambalaje
4. "You Can!"
Program pentru recuperarea deseurilor de aluminiu - protectia mediului.
Economie sustenabila
1. "Etica in afaceri"
Suita de dezbateri „road show”, la nivel national, in 8 capitale de judet.
Responsabilitatea sociala a corporatiilor – campanie nationala de informare in domeniul CSR in 41 de judete.
2. "Nu esti singur!“
Primul Concurs National de Jurnalism Comunitar din Romania.
Stil de viata sanatos
1. "Si eu mananc sanatos!"
Program educational pentru o nutritie sanatoasa, derulat timp de 10 ani in Bucuresti si alte 23 de orase din Romania. Peste 140.000 elevi de clasa a III–a au beneficiat de acest program. In 1999, programul a castigat IPRA Golden World Awards si IPRA Grand Prize.
2. "SPA – Siguranta Produselor Alimentare"
Campanie nationala de informare si educare a consumatorilor in ceea ce priveste siguranta produselor alimentare.
3. "Mic dejun cu cereale!"
Un program educational la nivel national, adresat elevilor de clasa a IV–a, prin care se promoveaza importanta micului dejun zilnic si a consumului de cereale pentru sanatatea organismului.
4. "Cluburi de miscare si distractie"
Program educational care promoveaza activitatea fizica in timpul liber, ca parte a unui stil de viata sanatos, adresat elevilor de clasa a IV–a.
Dezvoltare personala
1. "Totul despre bani"
Program educational national adresat elevilor din clasele V-XII.
2. "Dance Energy"
Program de responsabilitate in domeniul culturii – promovarea dansului contemporan si sustinerea liceelor de coregrafie din Romania.
3."In Your 20s"
Program de responsabilitate sociala in domeniul culturii – concurs national de film documentar de scurt metraj, cu libertatea de alegere a unei teme legate de "cum vezi lumea cand ai 20 de ani".
4. "Traieste cu masura!"
Program de responsabilitate sociala adresat studentilor, care promoveaza, prin dezbateri, un stil de viata echilibrat, fara abuzuri, si consumul responsabil de alcool.
5. "Puterea exemplului"
Un program de donatii in vederea renovarii si dotarii unui spital de copii si a productiei unor spectacole la Teatrul de Comedie - desfasurat pe o perioada de 5 ani,

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Community development is the process by which civic leaders, activists, local citizens, and professionals improve various aspects of local communities. It empowers individuals with the skills needed to effect change, including building political power and working for a common agenda based on values of fairness, opportunity, and social justice.
DIVERSITY
Diversity is an ideology which advocates that all parts of society, including businesses, should include, accept, and represent the multiplicity of cultures in the general population.
HEALTH & WELLNESS
Health and Wellness describes the general condition of body and mind and all living organisms, which is inextricably tied to environmental, physical, psychological, cultural, and social factors.
HUMAN RIGHTS
Human Rights is an ideology, belief, and movement that supports the notion that all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and, thus, have inalienable rights including the right to life and liberty, freedom of thought and expression, and equality before the law.
PHILANTHROPY/CORPORATE CONTRIBUTIONS
Philanthropy/Corporate Contributions are donations of funds, time, resources, and in-kind services by companies to charitable, non-profit, and/or community initiatives with the intention of "giving back" from profit for the greater common good.
SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE INVESTING
Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) refers to the integration of personal values and societal concerns with investment decisions, while considering both the investor's financial needs and an investment's impact on society.
VOLUNTEERISM
Volunteerism focuses on individuals, businesses, and nonprofits who volunteer their time or talents for charitable, educational, or other worthwhile activities, especially in, but not limited to, their own community.
WORKPLACE ISSUES
Workplace Issues refers to a variety of issues employees and employers face while at work, including labor relations, personal and professional conflict issues, health and safety, and discrimination and harassment.
RENEWABLE/ALTERNATIVE ENERGY
Renewable/Alternative Energy is any naturally occurring, theoretically inexhaustible source of energy, such as biomass, solar, wind, tidal, wave, and hydroelectric power that is not derived from fossil or nuclear fuel.
CLEAN TECHNOLOGY
Describes products or services that improve operational performance, productivity, or efficiency while reducing costs, inputs, energy consumption, waste, or pollution.
SAMPLE PROGRAMME PRESENTATIONS
1. ALL ABOUT MONEY: is a 4-year programme that puts together banks and financial institutions with their youngest clients – teenagers aged 14 to 18, school and college students.
It aims to both inform and educate the youngsters, hoping to create a responsive action from their part in relation with MONEY, which hopefully may transform them into a group of educated consumers who make conscientious purchasing and investing decisions based on social and cultural values
The main reference group include youngsters of 14- to 18-year old, school and college students from Bucharest and, later on, from 40 (10/second year; 20/third year; 40/fourth year) other Romanian cities.
By its main objectives and goals, ALL ABOUT MONEY features itself as a responsibility-raising and sustainability programme, which makes it a part of the LOHAS movement.
2. Philip Morris Itinerant Seminars: Informational National CSR Campaign (2002-2006) held in the most important cities of the country, represented a good opportunity for Philip Morris Romania to share its experience in corporate social responsibility. Starting 2007, PMR developed a new programme entitled “Business Ethics”, in collaboration with the Academy of Economic Studies, addressed to the local communities.
The roadshow covered:
- 42 debates held in the most important 35 cities
- 27 500 km round tour
- debates in 7 university centres
- over 3,326 participants
- 277 press materials published
3. Millions of People, Millions of Trees: A CSR tree-planting environmental & educational programme, having as institutional partner the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development. Founding member – URSUS Breweries. Sponsors of the programme: Lafarge Romania, Lockheed Martin, Pepsi Americas. IPRA Award Nomination in 2007
The programme covered:
- 337 web-registered member-associations
- 117 associations have planted over 147,330 trees and 96,500 plants
- 17,638 volunteers participated to the programme
Media Coverage 2006-2007
- 2 media campaigns
- 191 published press materials covering some 30,000 sqcm
- 3,4 million readers
4. DANCE ENERGY: A culture related 2007 CSR programme, designed to promote the contemporary dance, and its best talents amongst students.
Every year PRAIS organizes a show combining local and international contemporary dancers, with best classic and Jazz interpreters, and reputed theatre actors, a fusion between arts.
The benefits of the gala are donated each year to choreography high schools. Yearly, between Galas, a series of events draw the values of contemporary dance, and attract young people to learn more and to enjoy this modern art.
