Continuing with a preoccupation which became tradition, Danone launched a new information and education national program, concerning functional food.
Through this program, Danone wishes to bring into consumers spotlight the advantages of functional food consumption. In 2009 the program included 3 seminars in Bucharest, Cluj and Iasi, and will continue in the first half of 2010. The Danone guests were: Prof. Dr Mircea Diculescu, Director of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fundeni Insitute, Prof. Dr. Nicolae Hancu, President of Romanian Diabetes, Nutrition and Metabolic Diseases Federation and Prof. Dr. Mariana Graur, Primary Doctor in Diabetes, Nutrition and Metabolic Diseases; Internal Medicine; President of the Romanian Nutrition Society.
