Mangalia - October 1^st, 2008. PRAIS Corporate Communications organized a media tour with 23 journalists from specialized newspapers, radio and TV stations from Bucharest and Constanta, at the inauguration ceremony of LÜRSSEN Group operations in Romania.
The ceremony was attended by: Friedrich Lürssen (The Group's Owner), Doru Jianu (General Director Santierul Naval Mangalia), Gabriel Dumitrascu (General Director AVAS), Mihai-Claudiu Tusac (Mayor of Mangalia city), Rear-admirals Cornel Mihai & Dan Popescu, along with other personalities.
LÜRSSEN Group is a family owned business, with more than 130 years of tradition in building military and civil ships. The Group will run repairing, maintenance and construction operations of military and civil ships, in a joint venture with Santierul Naval Mangalia in Romania. This association is a result of the AVAS procedure conducted to select a strategic investor for Santierul Naval Mangalia, a Romanian company with 50 years of tradition.
