January 2012. Lafarge Romania together with “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism, Bucharest (UAUIM) and with Prais team support organized two series of conferences and workshops on the topic of affordable housing. It is a training program named Studio +, designed by Lafarge Group in partnership with architecture schools from Romania, France and India. The two series of conferences and workshops from UAUIM, which were attended by almost 150 students, had as lecturers: Christine AUCLAIR, Architect and Town Planner, Philipe MAURAN, Lafarge Director in charge of the “Affordable Housing” Project, François PERROT working within Lafarge’s Strategic Department and Michael Bell, Professor of Architecture at the Columbia University, U.S.
